Country Village Pub situated on the village green. Late 14th to 15th Century, low beamed lounge bar leading to a cosy restaurant. Traditional turn of the century ( The last one that is! ) public bar, offering darts, other bar games, and the daily papers. Dogs are welcome, and we offer, their own watering bowl and biscuit jar! We are also very KID friendly!

We are open all day, offering home cooked food throughout the pub as well as outside. Either in the pretty patio garden, or on the deck at the front under the giant umbrella.

Sarah Bloomfield has run this pub, at first with King & Barnes, but now under a Hall & Woodhouse Tenancy, for 19 years. Still with some of the original members of the staff, but most of the team have clocked up several years service!
